Stickford Community Centre was formerly the village school. It was built in 1909 and closed in 1987. This was purchased by the Parish Council in 1992 for use as a Community Centre. The Community Centre committee manage the Centre on behalf of the Parish Council.
The Community Centre is a community building and an independent charity funded by the hire of the space to groups and businesses for meetings, exercise groups and individuals for birthdays, weddings, etc. It is a well-maintained building with good facilities. Stickford Community Centre committee produces a village newsletter which is published quarterly, in February, May, August and November, where local news and details of events can be found. This is delivered to each household in the village, subject to volunteer availability.
