Provision of Salt Bins for Stickford Village
The Lincolnshire Highway department should top up the village salt bins during the winter months in three locations.
1. At the T junction of Church Road and the A16
2. At the T junction of Fen Road and the A16
3. At the corner along Hagnaby Road
The salt is for the use on public footpaths. On road surfaces where is there is a danger of ice or severe frost.
The salt provided is not for the use of resident’s own property.
If any member of the public who wishes to spread the salt in the locations mentioned, they do so at their own risk. The Parish Council does not provide equipment for the spreading of the salt.
