Stickford Parish Council Statutory meeting
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN and members of the Council are summoned to attend the Meeting of Stickford Parish Council, which will be held on 8th SEPTEMBER 2026, in Stickford Community Centre commencing at 8.00pm
Prior to the commencement of the meeting there will be a public forum for a maximum of 15 minutes when members of the public may make short statements to the Council.
A maximum further 15 minutes will be set aside for the meeting to receive reports from Lincolnshire Police, elected Members of Lincolnshire County Council (LCC), East Lindsey District Council (ELDC) and other outside bodies.

9. Matters arising from the previous meeting
a) A resident reported that the public footpath between Back Lane and Hagnaby Road is overgrown. Another resident reported that it has been cleared during the past couple of days.
b) A resident reported that issues are still arising at the airfield with the amount of scrap metal and scrap wood, along with the loose dog. Cllr Hume took the details and will follow it up to see if she can have some influence.
c) A resident reported that the state of the road along Fen Road and the Cul De Sac is poor. Some potholes have been patched as a result of reporting on Fix My Street, but not all of them. Cllr Hume will investigate with Highways.
d) A resident reported that the hedge next to the junction of Fen Road and the Cul De Sac is becoming overgrown, obscuring vision to drivers. Cllr Reeson to investigate to check if it is a private residence or Highways responsibility.
e) A resident reported that the curbs on the central reservation on the A16 are too high when using a wheelchair. It makes it a very dangerous place for all wheelchair users when attempting to cross the main A16. Cllr Hume will investigate with Highways and see if an up-to-date Speed Survey could be carried out.
