Carols round the Village Christmas Tree (Socially Distanced)
The government have said that carol singing can take place as long as it is outside. Carol Singing will therefore take place around the Village Christmas Tree outside the church on Saturday 19th December at 3pm. Everyone is welcome to come and join in singing familiar carols and bring a bit of cheer into our lives at this strange time that we are experiencing.
Parish Council News
If the Parish Council can arrange a meeting in the near future, a notice will be posted on the Parish Council web site, and the main notice board at the junction of the A16 and Fen Road, giving date and time of the meeting.
To all residents and Reverend Fran Jeffries, who lead the service at the War Memorial on Remembrance Sunday, the Parish Council would like to say a big thank you for attending. Also thanks to Harold Houldershaw who played the Last Post/Reveille on his Euphonium.
There has been a report of dog fouling around the village. Bags of dog faeces have been left on the pavement. We have 5 dog waste bins sited around the village for dog owners to use. It is known many people are bringing their dogs to walk around Stickford, who are not residents of the village.
East Lindsey District Council, can issue a penalty of £100 if there is proof of dog fouling. It can also be reported on the East Lindsey Council website under Dog Fouling.
